What if your enrollment changes?

If you withdraw from all Summer Session classes, you’ll be billed for the financial aid you received. You’ll still be responsible for the non-refundable campus fee and all other applicable non-refundable fees. Enrolling in additional classes or sessions won’t increase your financial aid eligibility. Ask your financial aid counselor how an enrollment change will affect your summer aid.

If your enrollment changes, complete the Summer Status form and upload to the Financial Aid Office.

Here are instructions on how to upload the Summer Status form.  Select the 'Summer Status Form  - UCI' under the 2023-2024 column.

Paying Fees

You need to accept your financial aid on time in order to pay fees. You also need to:

  • Submit an Application for Summer Session Financial Aid. (See "Applying" section above.)
  • Accept your financial aid funds.
  • Enroll in Summer Session classes.
  • Enroll in at least six units (unit requirements may vary by aid program).
