School of Medicine Students
UCI provides a wealth of resources to help with the costs of medical school.
In addition to the standard FAFSA application, all medical students must submit the School of Medicine Institutional Application which enters you into consideration for both need-based and merit-based scholarships.
When it comes to loans, your options differ substantially when compared to what’s available for undergraduate students. You can choose between the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan and the Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan, in addition to private loans.
Whatever financial assistance you choose, make sure you check your MyAid to verify the status of your application, and keep an eye on your inbox for any emails we send to ensure you meet all deadlines.
